It just means you have 1, 2, 3, etc extra folders before the real one. You have to make sure that when you open the first folder, it will have a 'style.common' OVL and a 'style.unique', the some 1 or more folders inside it that have ovl's inside them too.

Remember if you changed the name of the folders you will get the problem too.\

Edit: Alex how about this, upload the scenery folder on rapid share or mega upload and I will try to fix the directories for you.

This why:
Sometimes the computer has trouble uncompressing files with such large stuff. The data gets somewhat "modified" or tiny bit "corrupt". This can't effect a movie or a txt file, but the ovl files are delicate and can't be messed with. I re-install the set and it works on some of them.

Um, this is what I do. Go to the file that has the costom scenery I want to put in my game. Then I open up My Computer(or My Documents). I go to drive C, go to program files. Then go to atari. Go to RollerCoaster Tycoon? 3. Go to Style. Then go to theme. Then I go to the file with the costom scenery that I already opened before I opened another window. I make sure there's a folder or two when I put it in there. if it happenes, click on the first one,(do this unil you find the folder before the folder with the style common and style unique next to it), then I drag it to the style/themed folder. I hope this helps!

You save it to, "C:\Program Files\Atari\RollerCoaster Tycoon? 3\Style\Themed."

That's okay if you don't understand it. My english isn't very good either. I'm Vietnamese. So, it's hard. But my sister's english is really good. And mine isn't. Even though I was born in L.A.

Anyway.

You need to have the costom scenery in a folder(the folder before it). And the folder after the folder before should have style.common.ovl and style.unique.ovl next to it.

Are you talking about CFR's (custom flat rides)?
Or are you talking about coasters? I haven't seen too many coasters on atari that have the layouts up for download. If thats what your talking about just get the file, open my documents, and in my documents, look for the RCT3 folder. Inside their is a folder called coasters, put the file in there. The file should be a .trk file. As for custom flat rides, they install just like Custom Scenery, unless otherwise noted by the creator.

And no you do not need winzip for cs files, windows has a Zip file extractor. But you may want to get Winrar because lots of CS makers use that format. Search around for it and download it. The trial version doesn't expire, even though it says it does, you just X out of it, and it works. The trial version just doesn't have all the features, but still works great.
