Default Mike's Rock Warehouse

In the past, I have given away every detail of any ride I am about to create. And most times everyone judges the ride to quickly, and looses interest. Well not this time, I'm Making a ride, and I started a long time ago. But I've decided to continue it, and I will tell you that it will take a very very long time to complete. The entire ride is done, but there currently is no theming, except in the beginning. And the entire ride length is about 8-9 minutes. The average speed of the coaster is about 50-60 so you can imagine that this is a very very! long ride. I believe it came out to about a mile and a half in length. Anyway, I have made a teaser for this ride, and its pretty good. Here is a Mega video link
http://www.megavideo.com/?v=D1PXPVKD
It loads a bit faster, but has lower quality,
and the one below takes a few seconds longer to load but is much higher quality

It looks promising, however, there's nothing in there that seems like a "new" concept in RCT3. I'll have to wait and see more.

Well if your looking for something thats never been done before, not themeing wise, but game wise, then your at the wrong place. The theme has been done before, only that theme copies another attraction. This is strictly my own idea.

Sorry to keep you all waiting. The final days of school suck because of finals, plus i've been very busy at home. Anyway I have this ride enclosed within two buildings. The first building you've seen, the second you haven't. The second building lacks a roof but I need it off so i can put "stuff" (effects) inside. Most of these effects are almost done, then the roof goes up, then I ride it a couple times each day, and see if i need anything else. I hope to have this out before july, but depending on other things It may be longer.
Unfortunately newer pictures will giveaway way too much, and I hate when people judge the ride before they watch the video, and assume its not worth watching. Therefore I will show you some old pictures. These are from around February-March

^Entering the first "building"

^First building lift

And here is an overview of the entire ride without the two buildings.

By the way if you go back and watch the preview, look around 12-13 seconds and see if you see anything. In the real attraction it'll pop out at you, but because of the color effect you don't really notice it. If you figure it out don't post what it is, let other find it.

Ya, haven't seen Kpeek in a loooong time.

I no longer play RCT3. I now play Test Drive Unlimited and Battlefield 2. I've lost all my fresh ideas for a ride or park, not to mention RCT3 uses a lot of time that I don't have.

However, I was looking at the CS section of the Atari Forums and saw an Indiana Jones set. That really got me going. Remember the Disneyland Recreation that we so eagerly planned and worked on, but never got finished? Well, I kinda thought about doing an Indiana Jones recreation. Not sure if it's been done before, but I remember it was my assignment for the Disneyland group project. I just wasn't able to do it because of the limited resources. I dunno, I guess we will see. I also have a new computer that's pretty darn good, and I'm sure RCT3 would look great on it.

I still post on the Atari Forums regularly.

^Well the gangs all back. Yeah DLR project is dead. I really thought it'd work out, but Reillysix hasn't posted on here since January or something. Haven't heard from him, but I think he was having some family issues or something, but that could of changed. Anyways, I know exactly what you mean Rtoups, I just couldn't think of anything, a now I got this thing. Before though I stuck with playing BF2, and FSX, and then I wanted to do something amazing in RCT3, a good idea struck into my head. I usually get two or three ideas every month, but it doesn't always pass through the board of directors. And unfortunately, my brain, and my time are both on that board, and it usually doesn't work out. This ride is of GIGANTIC scale, but everything else i come up with is even bigger. And summer has come, and soon will be gone (August 8th ) I just get board on RCT3, all the things required for this ride is just very tedious. Mainly all the lasers i'm using. And thats because I don't like making one cool laser that maybe has five beams and spins for 300 seconds, because it looks very corny. Instead I look having lasers that are triggered by the vehicle. And this ride is very long (six minutes in fact) And I like having a triggered (or timed) event every 20 seconds. Thats a crap load of events for six minutes, and of course since there isn't such a thing as an on ride event, I have to time it. Start the coaster while the mixmaster is running then when the coaster gets there I have to pause it, and put all the stuff in. Imagine doing that about 120 times, and you've got making a ryguy222 ride! Too me that isn't very fun at all, but I do enjoy editing the video, as well as watching all the lasers and fx i add in synchronized to the music!

Anywho I'm gonna push back the date perhaps. I said maybe a month, for now i'm gonna say...
Completion date : ????

Actually, I'm fine and so is my family, I lost interest in RCT3 for the most part. As for the DLR project, superstrikertwo kicked me off the team and took over, and after that is when I really stopped playing. I actually got on for a few hours the other day because my younger brother challenged me to a ride build off. I just whipped a quick mouse ride together and threw scenery into it for a few hours. It's definitely not my best work, but my brother seemed to like and I'm not really planning on filming it at all since it's really weak on the thrill factor. As for my site, I was going to open it ages ago, but I decided to wait for the next release of the forum software which has been pushed back for a long time and I lost motivation to really work on the site at all. Also, my rides that I worked on over a year and a half ago that have not been released are ready for filming and editing but again, no motivation.

Anyways, nice work Ryguy, it's looking fantastic just like all of your work does. And it is nice to see K_peek and Rtoups here too.

hmm... say someones name and they post magically! lol
Yep I feel the same way sometimes R6 there are days when i just don't want to go into the game. And compared to other games it takes a pretty long time to load. The game takes maybe 30 seconds to come to the main screen, then about 3-5 minutes to load this park. And I have a good computer, i have two dual cores at 2 ghz each, and 3gb of ram. So i know its not my computer, because it does the same on my friends computer and he's got a dual core with 3.4 ghz. I'm sorry but by the time everything is loaded up, i don't want to do it. They really need an RCT4, and they should now that Chris sawyer has dropped the lawsuit on atari.

Even if Superstriker got every a task assigned, it just wouldn't work. Nobody would do there work, it'd take way too long, and after the three year deadline rolls by everyone has forgotten. I did talk to him, and last project i heard him working on was a 3D model of Disneyland, in 3d's max, but i'm not sure if he's still working on it.
