^True that.

The turns on RCT3 are so abrupt...thats why I don't really like them.

^I don't like them either, but I'd rather have bad turns, then not have a ride at all. Im not too into making recreations, I just want to make a really cool video. I'm into all that video stuff, because next year I'm going into Video Production school. Then onto ASU for film. And i don't own a camera, well my dad does, but I don't want to shoot video with my friends cuz there not too orgnized lol. This way I can do it all right on my computer. My next video the coaster is really really long. Average speed is 60 mph and it takes six minutes to ride. And its enclosed. Now it really isn't that good of a ride. Peeps like it, but just the ride won't make for a good video. Thats why I've included "other things"

You are going into video production as well? Nice! I'm right there with you!

What's the biggest project you've done (Shooting real live people)? Camera that your dad has? Editing program?

Piece of advice for real live shooting,

People follow YOU. YOU don't follow them. Reputation falls in just a little bit. If you're a great director, people will have no problem working with you. Oh...they have to know you also.

^Nice, launch fins right? I saw a set like that

To BCC

Everyday at school, well its out now, I go out on campus with an anchor and a boom mic operator shoot a story with a Cannon GL2
http://sils.unc.edu/itrc/its/images/...t/CanonGL2.jpg

At our school we have ten Mac Pro G5's with Final cut Studio 2 running on them. We also have five really good PC's with Avid on them. Also this year we went to the Studnet Television Network convention at Disneyland! It was bomb. We took part in the sweet 16 contest, where you get one word topic, and you have to go around the resort and make a story. We got the word at 6 am, and had to shoot and edit it by 11 pm. 16 hours. Our word was amazing, so we just went around DLR mainly DTD and got some cool shots, and had anchors do a quick story on hidden mickeys, then we went out and found them. The exhibit hall at the DLH served as the editing room, all they gave us was three tables in a U shape, and a power strip. We brought two Mac Pro's and a PC with Sony Acid on it (we needed to make our own music, or have royalty free music) Anyway that was the first day. There were something around 140 schools there, and no we didn't win. There are also a bunch of other contests you do, and the convention is three days, but we stayed five and went to Disneyland!

Next year its at WDW, and its at a resort off property. STN is renting the whole place out, its gonna be sweet!
http://studenttelevision.com/convent...onvention.html

For all my video projects at home, I use my dad's Panasonic Palmcorder we got it about six months ago its very tiny but has a 3CCD chip so its got great picture. Anytime my dad or I edit we use Vegas 8 Platinum.

Wow...I'd do anything to participate in the Disneyland Student TV convention!

A Canon GL2 eh? Very nice! I have a Canon HV30.

I have to say, you have had more exposure than I have. I go to a private school so our cinema and production classes are small and we have our own cameras and editing softwares. We only had one outing and that was to Cal State Fullerton and had a private workshop. We worked with a Canon XLR2 mounted with a crane. It will pretty neat.

As for me, I work with a Canon HV30, Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 and Final Cut Express.

Well this is progress, but that really doesn't look too much like the support structure. Well its close, but you need to have vertical posts, going next to the X's then it'll look much better.
