VMK reopening?

So I was just IMing my friend, and he said that there was a rumor floating around that VMK is reopening on October 24, 2008. Here's the quote he found:
"While Virtual Magical Kingdom was managed by two companies, One had quit the game, Due to the lack of profit.
While Disney believed that charging for such games would not be right, The other company believed otherwise.
Disney, Who owned most of the rights to VMK, Did not delete the game data base, Or any character information.
Disney has searched for another company to partner with, Due to the need of continuesly working members, One has been found, Upon which believes in fairness.
Virtual Magical Kingdom will return in the next few months, Hopefully by September or October of 2008, Or the New Year of 2009 if planning does not proceed in a timely fashion.
All characers/information will be returned to the state upon which they where the day Vmk shut down."

What do you think? Do you think it's true?

It would be great if Virtual Magic Kingdom came back. I can only hope it's true. I don't know what to think.

I wish but idk... i really enjoyed that game...

there are a lot of rumors involving a reopening but i dont want to get my hopes up.

some ppl didn't get the game and thats fine. but it meant a lot to others ...
it wouldn't hurt anybody to reopen it so i say why not!

I accidently went to the VMK site last week, and it said there were no plans to open it again. If it's supposed to be back by next month, I;d bet they would have released something to the news by now.

If it did come back, I'd probably play once or twice before getting bored again, if I wasn't deleted in the first place from innactivity

The server deletes accounts after six months on inactivity. If the game reopened and you decided to play it, everything should still be there for you.

I am sort of hoping Disney won't reopen the game, but instead they will keep moving forward, like Walt Disney said himself, and bring on bigger and better things for us to play.

I guess, but they should. Plenty of people LIVED for that game, a.k.a. you, and everyone worked hard on those quests to get all those cool objects. They should reopen it though.
