Default The New Land

I think it's toontown. What do you think it is?

Looking at the "sneak peek" in YAVN's special update, the teensy picture of the alligator is probably the new NPC, and the chair next to him looks quite reminescent of New Orlean's Square, I think. Also, YAVN mentions that the land is going to look small (on the map....NOS), but will have rooms that you can't get into from the map, that require tickets (similar to Club 33). Sounds a lot like NOS to me. But that's just my guess.

Now hold on a sec (I hear a collective sigh over the internet), let me explain - before I do, remember in VMK, everything is not always what is seems (for instance, just because the map looks small does not mean the Land is small). In fact, our new Ticketing System was in part designed for a specific location that won't even be on the new land map. ;-) We create locations exclusively for the purpose of enhancing the existing game - as I've said before, we don't want to add rooms just for the sake of adding rooms. So once you've gotten in there and played around, it will make more sense. (Even the new Land's NPC does something totally new - just say the magic "code" word and you might see some magic...)

Who is this guy - and why is he in my column?

I guess we'll see.

lol, i actually suggested a toontown a long time ago (though i doubt my suggestion had anything to do with a possibility of putting it in) i would rather have a NOS then toontown. but what about liberty square at WDW?

Yeah, you're right about that chair...hmm. Well, it is an alligator with some sort of marching band uniform on. Music is associated with New Orleans and an alligator does go along with a swamp type area. NOS does sound like it could be it :)

^ No set date yet, maybe tomorrow or Saturday. Because Yavn mention next week in last weeks Yavn's Speak, there are only 2 days left in this "next week."

Not necessarily. Not all the rides are in the same "lands" in the different parks. As it is, in VMK, HM is in Frontierland, whereas POTC is in Adventureland. This new land very well could be Liberty Square. Who knows. We'll just have to wait and see!
