Automatic Account Deletions [on VMK]

Hey everyone,

Just to let you all know, it appears that VMK has been doing automatic account deletions recently, most likely in order to free up some server space. If the account has been inactive for six months or more (this seems to be the cutoff time), it will be deleted, and I have lost five people on my friends list this way. If your account is nearing the six-month-inactivity mark, I HIGHLY suggest you go onto VMK for a bit and wander around to show some activity and also to refresh your VMK time.

Ouch, that is not good. I have been inactive on VF! Forums for a while... and VMK for even longer!!! Looks like I need to create a new account..

Yeah they have been doing that for a while now. It's because if there are a whole bunch of unused accounts, it will take up too much space on their server.
