Default Warning!!!!!!!!! (Large groups and indecision)

Do NOT go to DL with more than 4-5 people. I went on a huge family trip, and I literally got 2 rides in each day. Say someone was hungry, we all went to a churro stand and waited in, line. Or if someone had to use the restroom we all went to the restroom together. If you do plan on going on a trip with a big party, try to split up into smaller groups and DONT BRING MORE THAN ONE KID!!!!!

Interesting......l've always gone with a family of at least 5 and last summer there were 6 of us--me and my husband, 3 of my older kids (ages 15, 18 and 19) and my 3 year old son. We went on tons of rides, had a great time, and no time setbacks at all.

Well, if you plan right, you can get stuff done. I always like to tell people 8 is the best number to go to Disneyland with :)

Yeah, I went with a group of eleven once to DCA... it was tons of fun! I was there at 11:00 AM, but the rest of my family arrived at around 5:00 PM. We got 2 TOT rides, 1 California Screamin' Ride, 1 Golden Dreams Ride, 1 Maliboomer Ride, and 1 Grizzly River Run ride in... so that led up to six rides in just four hours! Not bad for a big group! And that included two restroom stops, three shop stops and one popcorn stop, too!

Oh, and BTW... there were three of us kids.

i went with 10 people, and half of us were kids. we went on every ride we wanted to, so we had a great time. we split up into groups, and went our own direction until a certain time. we had a great time! and 10 people worked out fine. although the kids were at least 10 years or older

I think it's fun to go with 2 or 3 other people, but sometimes, I go there by myself (selfish guilty pleasure, I guess...)

I used to take eighth graders to Washington, DC during spring break. A couple of things I learned about going with a group - potty stops are scheduled and everyone goes, even if "they don't have to;" potty stops on demand will ruin a visit. Same with snacks. Pack some for really little kids; everyone carries their own water and you only stop to eat as a whole group. Trouble with DL is that we all love snacking there, and we all love something different. Sometimes I think it would be better to declare, "20 minute snack break, everyone go get what you want and meet back here," rather than stand in multiple lines for food.

I'm so lucky to live close enough to make multiple trips in a year. My favorite trips have been the ones where I take ONE other family member (or two if I take my parents) and focus the day on what they want. Because I also go by myself sometimes, I don't feel cheated if they don't want to do "my" thing.

We use to go with ten people (11 one time) and still had a blast! It would be my two sisters, my brother, mom, grandma, aunt, 3 cousins, and me. We would split up so we could stay with people closer to our ages. It was a blast!!!

Looks to me like it's not how many people go in your party but who goes.

In my opinion it's all about planning, just because there's a big group doesn't mean you can't do anything. Just split up and plan everything out. I've went with my whole family and never had any problems , we rode everything we wanted to and ate where we all wanted to with time to spare

Yea! I am going with a group of eleven in august and we came to the agreement that the first two days we want to do disneyland and DCA as good as we can. I'm pretty much the guide and they've all said they will follow me. Haha.

These are all my best friends so...haha. Most likely the last 2 days we will split but its so much more fun in a huge group and being able to say "11" when they ask "how many in your party"

Thank god we're all in our late teens and early 20's...we dont stop for potty breaks and we've agree on where we want to eat...and well, we dont argue much...haha
