Default VF.... You Decide For Me!

My fellow VF'ers!

I am counting on you to help me decide! I am taking a trip June 22. I will be attending with two other friends, one of which has never been to DL the other has not been since she was 10. We will only be there for two evenings. Can you all help me decide which nighttime entertainment I should take them to??? I have seen all the shows numerous times, I am trying to decide what to take them to.

Thank you all!

I say all of the above. RDCT & 10:30 Fantasmic! can be done back to back rather easily, regardless of crowd. Electrical Parade can be done on the other night.

I suggest not directly in front of the castle (as in the first row); they allow traffic to pass right in front.. quite distracting to say the least.
Anyways, I agree with Matt, you and your friends should enjoy it all! Especially on thoe busy summer nights, it'd be good to just sit back and wait for the show. Just my feeling about it anyways. :)

Withought a doubt Fanstasmic. To have a descent seat withought trying to get the high dollar seats, you will have to spend some time sitting to hold your seat. I've found if you get nearby when the first show is wrapping up, you can easily sneak in to get a seat up front as they're clearing out.

If you don't know about the high dollar seats, you can read about it here.

One of the nights, you'll definetally want to get a good seat (generally in front of the castle) for the fireworks show. This one will also require some sitting time to get a good seat.

In my estimation, those are the biggies to hit. If you check Disney's calendar for those two days, it'll show the times for what events are going on.

I've lost count how many times I've gotten seats for the 10:30 Fantasmic in the center sit-down section of Fantasmic viewing area after RDCT. This is the cobblestone area that leads right up to the water. Even with the mass migration, you're there by around 9:55 or so. That means you'd be waiting about a half hour for Fantasmic!. Not a real biggie.

RDCT will eventually be changed into something else so I'd do that one if you can only do one. Fantasmic (in some form or another) will be around for a while and the Electrical Parade will be there as long as DLR needs to bleed off crowds from DL to DCA. (oops, sorry, didn't mean for that to sound so cynical. I've fallen in love with DCA, but the reality is that DL is much more crowded than DCA and the Electrical Parade helps to mitigate that some.)

Here's another vote for doing them all. PMM is exactly right - my Mom and I have done well several times going straight from RDCT to great seats for Fantasmic. Then, you could take care of the Electrical Parade the next night.

I would say that if you could only do one thing, definitely go with RDCT. It is the most amazing fireworks show I have ever seen, and it will be replaced someday (I imagine in the not too distant future). Fantasmic and the Electrical Parade are probably there to stay for quite a while.

Whatever you do, have fun!
