Timon Parking Lot Closure date?

Anyone knows when this lot is being closed for the DCA expansion? cuz I´ll go to DL this September and want to stay in the Anabella, so I kind of need the tram hehe, also, does anybody recomend any specific time of the day for the nemo and tsm rides?? thank you!!

Timon will still be open in September. Best time of day I can recommend to ride Nemo & Midway is immediately before their park's closing time.

If you can get in Disneyland right as it is opening and quickly hussle it over to Nemo you will probably get on the ride in about 5-10 minutes. That's what we did.

True enough, but if you wait in front of the park gates for x amount of time to do that, you're still in effect waiting to ride Nemo. You're just waiting in front of the gates & not in Nemo's queue.

Wait. I hadn't heard anything about the parking lot closing until reading this. So does that mean the little opening from the street and the small walk to the tram won't be possible anymore?

The Timon lot's closure shouldn't have any effect on the 'East Shuttle Area' street entrance off of Harbor, nor should it affect the drop-off area. The entry to Timon is at the intersection of Harbor Blvd and Disney Way. Timon is currently the last remnants of the old Disneyland parking lot whose land was converted into the current DCA park.

That little tradition will continue one final time when Timon makes way for a coming expansion of DCA for what is today known as "Cars Land" though I doubt it'll still have that name when it opens. It might, but that 12 acre parcel of land is planned to hold a great E-ticket attraction in the vein of Test Track, a couple smaller attractions, merchandise locations of course, and possibly a new food location.

So I don't completly understand. My sister is staying at one of the hotels, the name is missing from my memory but it's right by the Jolly Roger, but we walk over from the hotel, across the street, to the parking lot, then take the tram to the enterance. Is that something we will still be able to do?
