Its very possible that I may be working for Disney Interactive sometime next year. I know for sure that the employees are given free "Disney theme park" passes. I've also heard that they get like 50% off Disney hotels and also discount Disney cruises.
My question is (for those of you who DO work for Disney), do you get Disney park passes for your family members? If so, how many? I've also heard that the employees at Disney Interactive get additional one-day Disney passes in the mail twice-a-year. Is that true? How about Disney hotels? Do you get a discount? This will obviously change how often we go to DLR, and our mode of transportation - free passes and discount hotels means we can fly instead of drive 10 hours.

If you work for Disneyland (this is my understanding, but since Disney Interactive =/= Disneyland, this may be different), you can get a Blue Card, which enables you to "sign in" up to 3 people 16 times a year. This means that you and three other people can get in for one day free, and you get complimentary park hopper passes. There are blackout days on that, though. You do also get... I don't remember what they're called, but they're like plastic cards that employees get (I think those are the twice a year passes you're talking about) that work the same way, but you can use them whenever you want.
The Blue Card comes into effect 90 days after you start working for Disney, I think. But that depends on where you work and what you do -- sometimes the probation period is shorter. I'm not sure what all applies to you since it's not quite Disneyland, but that's what I do know, if that helps. :) (I don't know about the hotels, though, but I can ask my boyfriend, he would know.)

I appreciate the info. Yes, if you could find out about the hotels, that'd be great! Thanks!
