I was C-3PO for a day back in 1997 to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Star Tours!

Disney said that they "are working on" possibly bringing Star Wars Weekends to Anaheim next year. Cool!

It's already at WDW. I heard from a castmember who plays one of the Stormtroopers in Jedi Training Academy that they are considering having it at the park. This year would have been a good year to start it because it's the 30 year anniversary.

I have been twice. Brilliant idea, but lousy timing. It's in the summer when the park is hot and crowded. If you go to the website mentioned they will show the group picture.

that's what i was thinking to...maybe they figured it would already be crowded with Nemo.

imagine Tomorrowland with Star Wars Weekends as well. Yikes!!

they need to figure out a way to bring this to DL and DCA to help that park out.

I think DCA would be a better choice than the park because DCA sorely needs to attract more guests. And also, have it in the fall or winter not the summer, for the same reason: winter has lower attendance, so boost attendance with Star Wars weekends. And also, stormtrooper armor does get a tad warm.

^^DCA would be better, but Star Tours is in Tomorrowland...it would be kinda weird to not have part of Star Wars weekends in DL

it would be fun if they could create something for DCA though. like a redo of Golden Dreams for the weekends a la Golden Screams (but Star Wars themed). Maybe have a Star Wars influenced soundtrack to California Screamin' or something?

Good point. Maybe they should move Star Tours to DCA and then have the Stormtroopers there. Then bring back Innerspace to where Star Tours currently is. My point being, there is a need to attract people to DCA I thinkg Star Wars weekends is a way to do it. Placing us at the Hollywood backlot is completely appropriate since Star Wars is a movie
