Default School trip in May - HELP ME!

My school choir is planning a trip to California in May, and we're planning to spend a few days in Disneyland. However, there are only three to five other people on my side that think that two days in Disneyland is not long enough. What do you think?

And, if you agree with me, do you have any suggestions to change their minds? It's a stretch, but any help would be GREAT!

2 days I think is enough. Just remember that the best thing to do is to get on the rides you know will get crowded later in the morning and then get fastpasses for the rides that have them in the afternoon.

2 Days in May should be a good amount of time and you should be able to ride just about everything you want to ride.

But what about the end of May? Isn't it usually crowded then?

Yes, but we don't ever designate where everyone goes. When we say "A day in Disneyland" everyone can go to either Disneyland or California Adventure. That's one of the major problems, everyone always spends all the time at DCA. That can be done in one or two days, but DL can't.

I have a few tips:

People always say to go to the major attractions right away. If you like that, go right ahead and hit the mountains. I think that it is best to hit the classics in Fantasyland first. Then (if wanted check out the times over in Toontowwn. sure it's for kids but, it's always fun) head on over to Tomorrowland for the thrills of Space Mountain ans Star Tours. Check out the others as well (Autopia and Buzz). You can skip Honey, unless you have time. Same with Innoventions, only if you have time. Also, try stopping for luch here at Redd's.
Skip Adventureland!!! Dont worry, you'll have time later
Get a Fastpass for either Pirates or Mansion. Then, wait in line for the ride without the fastpass.
Then attack Splash and Pooh (if you have never been on that ride.. but it is relaxing and at some points enjoyable). Try getting in Frontierland either in the morning or get to Big Thunder right before the park closes (you are to get on the ride for sure). Save Adventureland for the night time because alot of people go on those attractions early in the day. Jungle Cruise is usally close to empty same with Tiki Room.. but beware sudden nighttime crowds when DCA closes. Indy is almost always crowded throughout the day.

If you're going to DCA as well.. let us know

Hope this helped, you could send me a pm.. if u wish (sometimes i forget to check it though)

POTC has no fastpass and HM only has Fastpass for HM Holiday.

If you are only going to Disneyland, I kind of feel like you would be able to see almost everything in two days if you plan accordingly. Get a FastPass for Space Mountain early and hit the popular rides, since they will be undoubtedly crowded later in the day. Also, be sure to plan around parades, shows, fireworks, food breaks, etc.

In fact, I think if you plan everything out really well, you might be able to fit almost everything in one day. Then spend the second day at California Adventure! DCA can easily be done in one day, IMHO.

But then again, seeing as you're from out of state, you probably don't get to go to Disneyland too much. If that's the case, then I guess it's a bummer to only go for two days! Tell everyone going to Disneyland is an opportunity of a lifetime and that they haven't lived until they've been there! If they're not huge Disneyland fans though, I have a bad feeling that it'll be hard to convince them to stay longer than 2 days...

Unfortunately, that's how some of them feel. A lot of the others, when they do go, don't go in Disneyland very much at all and spend most of their time in DCA because, quote: "Disneyland was cool when I was a little kid. Now, I love Six Flags." I just wish I could figure out some way to have they go along with my thoughts.

ARE THEY FREAKIN" NUTS!!!! They must realize DEEP DOWN INSIDE that Disneland will always beat the heck out of Six Flags. If I were you, I'd keep badgering them. However, I live close by so I could always go back. But for you, just keep trying.

^ You'd be surprised with the kids at my high school. They just don't understand what good entertainment is. Heck, two years ago, the last time I went on this trip, we did go three days to Disneyland. One of the girls I talked to said that she didn't like Disneyland at all. When I asked her why, she said, and I quote: "There's nothing to do in Disneyland." If that's not nuts, I don't know what is.
