Cool Planning the trip already...maybe a lil soon.

Well here's the scoop...

We ( my DH and my daughter... seen in the pix and I ) are going to go back to Disneyland in Oct. 2009.

She will be 3 1/2 by then and hopefully tall enough for the rides.. we only 13 more inches.

Now we went before back in Oct. 2005 when I was pregnant with her and I got to take my DH for his first trip and we loved... Since having her, I have be planning and talking about this trip non-stop.

DH and I are totally Disney-fans... actually Eeyore fans to be specific. Lately we have been getting Tinkerbell things for my daughter, but its an equal oppurtunity household so as longs there is no guns or small pieces its all good.

I know what you must be thinking

That this trip is 2 1/2 years away...
Well I am super excited and way more so than my DH so he suggested I post on a site my info I reshearch and share my excitement with others. I think he might be sick of hearing about this trip. But oh well... I even started a trip fund, after staying at the Annabell ( which by the way is practically equal distance from DS and DCA as the Paradise Pier Hotel )
I want to do it right and stay at the Grand or at least DL Hotel
I know she probably won't care where we stay this is more of a mommy thing.

So heres the first post hopefully I will let you know more as the months go by.

Thanks for reading.

Too early? Nonsense.

People were giving me curious looks because I wanted to book my current vacation about 9 months in advance. I finally gave in and decided to wait a few more months, happened to find a good deal, and am now set to go in July.

But, it's a trip about 2 years in the planning too, so definitely not too early! (Though mostly it took so long because I needed time to save for it, wanting to splurge a bit at the Disneyland Hotel.) It's always fun planning out what you wanna do, and then making little changes here and there depending what new things come up at the resort. Your daughter, by that time, may love the Disneyland hotel as well, because there's lots of little touches she will love that the Paradise Pier doesn't have (the Grand does, but personally I think it appeals mor eto adults). The DL Hotel even offers wake-up calls from Mickey!

However, you have 2 years to expose her to all things Disney so she can appreciate it more when you get there. The classic videos, books (the fairytales and books about Disneyland) will help.
