Effective as of TODAY:

All of the prices have been raised by one dollar. Regular cars now cost $12.

Just another reason to add parking to your Annual Pass (if you have one!).

Is it 12 dollars per hour or for the whole time you are visiting the park?

They'd be crazy to make it $12 an hour. Guests would start parking elsewhere and just walk to the parks. You figure the park is open between 11-16 hours a day (depending on the day of the week). If they charged $12 an hour, that would come out to $132-192 per day! That's more expensive than the price of admission!

However, if you park at Downtown Disney, the first 3 hours are free and then they start to charge you a specific dollar amount per hour after that. I'm not sure what the fee is, since I've never stayed at Downtown Disney longer than 3 hours. But unless you leave your car there all day, the price is reasonable.

DtD is $6 an hour after the first three. I parked there for the first time last night to see Indy. I didn't catch the limit though. Luckily it was late and they didn't charge...

This is kinda ironic... im reading a book called Disney War, and it said that Walt wanted to keep the parking prices low, so when they wanted to raise it, Walt wanted to keep it at $1. Funny how times change... and prices go up!
