Default Okay everyone I need help! (Hotels and booking)

Okay we decided on leaving for the scavenger hunt on Thursday Sep. 6th in the afternoon and want to come back on Tuesday Sep. 11th as late at night as possible. What I want to know is if I should book through disneyland.com or if it would be cheaper (we need air, hotel, park hoppers and transportation from the airport) to go to like expedia. We also need to know which hotel is a good hotel that is cheap and very close to the resort (because I hate walking lol). Any help would be appreciated and I promise to keep checking this thread. Thanks!!

I would use Expedia for the air/hotel as they usually give discounts to you if you book both through them. Then I'd use disneyland.com for the park hoppers (discounts for pre-purchasing online) and information for Gray Line buses that transport guests to/from the airports.

Another word of advice is to fly into John Wayne Airport, not LAX, as it is much closer to Anaheim than LAX is. Might save a lil' on the transportation there.

Depends on how far you want to stay from the park. I've stayed at the Anaheim Park Inn which is in Fullerton, about a good 5-7 minute drive from the park. If you want to pay a little more you could stay at the Fairfield Inn across the street, It's a good little walk but MUCH closer and their rooms are always clean and their rates aren't too shabby. The plus is there's a Milly's & McDonald's on the grounds.

Yeah that's where I've stayed before and it's my favorite place to stay off-resort property.

Southwest has some of the best internet fares for flying to Burbank or LAX.

One of the best package deals for tickets and hotel is:

www.getawaytoday.com

I've used them for the last 5 trips I've taken to Disneyland.

For closest, I choose Desert Inn.

For cheapest, Anaheim Plaza.

For the best value... expecially if you have 5 or 6 so need a 3rd bed... Ramada Plaza Anaheim without a doubt. NICE hotel. Great price, NO upcharge for parking or WiFi. Big rooms with two VERY comfy queens and a fold-out couch. ART shuttle to the park if you really don't want to walk.

Dang... I need to shut up and keep my secret a secret.
