I have a question and need to ask for your comments about the Napa Rose Restaurant in the Grand Californian Hotel. If you have ever been to the resaturant and would care to share your experience there (prices, food quality, overall dining experience, etc.) please let me know, as I will be dining there on Jule 2nd. Thanks for you help and have a Magical Night! -Jordie

Joride,
This place is wonderful. The setting is gorgeous - I'd advise to ask if you can wait for a table near the big window that faces DCA - it is gorgeous. Prices are pretty high - my mother and I went late in the evening and just had drinks and dessert. Understand that this is a high class restaurant - you will see many men in suits and many women in evening gowns. However, it is also in a theme park, so there will be a lot of people in tshirts and shorts also. My Mom and I made the mistake of riding GRR before our reservation, and sat int eh fancy restaurant in soaking wet tshirts and shorts. However the staff is amazing, and it is really a great experience. If you are eating dinner there, I would suggest going for the chef's choice menu - it is several courses including dessert, and the couple sitting next to us kept getting wonderful food and said they really enjoyed it. Whatever you do, have fun! |
