Memorial Day -- Am I Insane?
I'm local -- up in Pasadena -- and I booked myself a one-night stay at the hotel and planned on spending two days at the park. Problem is, I just noticed that the date I picked is Monday May 28th and that is Memorial Day. Granted, that Tuesday will probably be much quieter, am I still insane to go anywhere near the park on Monday? Should I just pick another Monday?
Any thoughts? |

Might be a little busy, but probably not as bad as Saturday or Sunday before it! You should be alright.

When people are out of school and work due to any holiday, you can expect it to be a bit busy. Maybe Tuesday will be quieter, since Tuesday's and Wednesday's are typically the quieter days of the week.

It will be busier than a non-holiday Monday, but as always, any crowds are manageable. Park usually stays open later than it would have on an ordinary Monday (like today) so you'll get to enjoy a couple extra hours by going when you are.
