Not crowded at all. I remember all of September and most of October and it was the least crowded.

I was there the first week of October and it was relatively quiet.

Is was there on October 11th and it was not really crowded. But you have to keep in mind that Disneyland is currently celebrating its 50th anniversery so if you go next year October 2006 the crowds will be less becuase the 50th anniversery has ended. DCA may have more crowds becuase by then the Monster Inc ride should be opened but the crowds should be light.

Late Sept, early Oct is my favorite time to go! The kids are all back in school, the weather is still great and the crowds are very light!

Just plan your Disney vacation against the school times, any time the kids are in school, that is the time to go. Everything is a walk on, including Splash Mountain, only 5 mintues!

As long as you don't go during holidays or the summer, the park shouldn't be that bad.

I heard the 50th celebration will continue until Dec 2006--the 50th will still be going on in Oct 2006, so will the crowds be bad??

On the Anaheim school district internet calendar, it says school started last year on Sept 8, so I'd say that school will start this year around Sept 7. Just a guess =)
