Yes, the rain hurt, but i pulled my beanie down as far as possible and put my scarf over my mouth...I could barely see what was going on, but it was still fun!

We only went to DCA, not DL. I wanted to go there, but we were pretty darn cold! We didn't see any characters at DCA. I was bummed because we didn't get to see that many characters the entire trip, and it was my sons first time there. Even in Toontown! I really wanted to see Donald, may be next time. That's really cool that you guys saw so many characters!

Did you drive? We did and thankfully by the time we got to the grapevine, it was open with no escorts. I think we were lucky because it was closed a lot last week.

Yes, we did drive. We drove up from the Bay Area on Tuesday and drove back on Friday. So we just missed the closure of the grapevine too!

We're did you guys drive from?

We're in the bay area too. Martinez. Drove down on Monday, drove home Friday. That's good you didn't get stuck in at the grapevine, I was really worried we'd be stuck there forever. Did you notice how crowded it got Thursday evening? Wow....and the stores were a mad house! All the Christmas merchandise is 50% off! I have never seen anything on sale at Disneyland, and it sure was flying off the shelves!

You are only about an hour away from me!

It did get very crowded on Thursday. We were watching the parade that night on main street and it was CRAZY crowded.

And unfortunatley, my family was so stingy they wouldn't let me check out the stores. I'm so upset, because now I'm hearing about all these sales I missed!! Ugh!!! lol

^We were shopping when everyone was waiting for the parade. Yeah, great sales. That sucks you couldn't check it out. Even the collectibles were on sale-like Jim Shore and Lenox. I got a super cute tree skirt. Now looking back, I should have bought gifts for next years Christmas! Darn...oh well.

Oh my gosh. Now I am JEALOUS! I love disney clothes shopping. And right now there is NOTHING good in our Disney store here. Yuck! I missed out! Oh well, hopefully I will be getting an AP pass next year, so I'll have plenty of opportunities to shop then! lol

Merry Christmas!
