Has anyone ever purchased a ticket or AP from Vons?

I saw that Vons was selling So Cal APs and I was wondering how that would work.....would I just give that to the ticket taker person and then get my AP sometime that day, or would I still need to wait in the line to get my ticket (I don't know why, that wouldn't make any sense, but I just thought I would ask)

I have not, but what I think you do is it works just like if you got the paper. They scan it at the turnstiles, and then you go to the building to get your picture taken and then you get the real AP. Not sure though.

It would probably be like what you said.

When I bought a ticket to Universal Studios Hollywood online and get the pass that will let me in the rest of the year for free, I was told that I had to go to this one building that is at the side of the turnstiles. In there, we got our real passes.

Even though this ticket was bought online, the way of getting a pass or ticket is basically the same: outside of the park property. I hope this helps.

Kileli is right. I was bought a AP Gift card as a gift. I walked up to the turnstile, they scanned it, and told me to go immediatly to the AP office. Once there I had to fill out the form and take my picture....it was easy.

I buy my tickets from Ralphs or The Disney Store all the time. It saves you a lot of time at ticket windows and you get a pretty decorated reminder of your magical day, I keep my ticket stubs and these don't rip or tear.

All you have to do is take your ticket card straight to the front gate and that's it!

FYI: Keep the reciept just in case though, and always ask the cashier if they are sure they activated it.
