Default FastPass machine locations and single rider directions

FastPass machine locations and single rider directions.

Does anyone know where the Fastpass locations are for each ride in both parks and any single rider information would be great too (Do you still just go to a CM and say "single rider please" for each ride that offers it or something else?) Thanks!!

That's a start! Thanks B. I guess I can get that anywhere, like from the hotel or at the park.

Actually, I started this thread for everyone's benefit. Thanks for your contribution though.

ok here we go

SINGLE RIDER:

Splash Mountain - to use the single rider option on this attraction, you will go through the exit. Next to the regular line at the loading area, will be a single rider line. Anytime they need 1 person to fill a log, they will pull from the single rider line. Both my husband and I used the single rider option on Splash Mountain in November, and neither of us waited for more than 5 minutes. It is a great way to enjoy the ride quickly and get back to your child. (2004 Update - The Winnie the Pooh ride and the characters from Winnie the Pooh are right by Splash Mountain. We switch off on parent riding Splash while the other took Alex on the his ride)

Indiana Jones - for this attraction, you will need to stop and see a Cast Member in the FastPass check-in area to get a single rider pass, then you will go through the exit. Once again, when a single seat is open, this time on a jeep, they will pull from the single rider line. (2004 Update - Rumor has it that it is no longer available on Indiana Jones)

Disney's California Adventure has four, soon to be five attractions that have the single rider option.

Grizzly River Run - this attraction only offers the single rider option when there is a long wait for the normal queue. To use single rider here, check with the Cast Member at the beginning of the line. This person will let you know if single rider is available at that time, and if so, give you a pass. They will then tell you how to get in line for this attraction.

Soarin' Over California - for single rider, check with the Cast Member at the entrance of the attraction for a single rider pass. Once obtained you use the FastPass entrance. Some people recommend using FastPass instead of single rider on this very popular attraction. We did use single rider on this in November, and once again neither of us waited at all, getting on the first (next) flight to Soar. In fact, two out of 3 times, we each obtained front row seating.

Maliboomer - for this attraction, you will find a special line to the left of the main queue entrance.

Tower of Terror - this attraction will offer single rider, and a special queue has been built to accommodate single riders. This attraction is currently scheduled to open in early May (2004 Update: This great ride opened in May. Single rider was not available at that time. Hopefully they will allow it in the future.)

I wrote this a while ago to answer this very question

Disneyland FastPass Network
*Autopia (daily)
*Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (Daily)
*Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters (Daily)
*Indiana Jones Adventure (Daily)
*Splash Mountain (Daily) - SR available
*Space Mountain (Daily)

Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin FastPass Network
*Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin

Disney's California Adventure FastPass Network
*California Screamin' (Daily) - SR available
*Mulholland Madness (Daily) - SR available
*Soarin' Over California (Daily) - SR available
*The Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror (Daily)

Grizzly River Run FastPass Network
*Grizzly River Run (Daily) - SR available

Now at some of the rides that do offer Single Rider Service, (this is the name the map gives it, along with a nifty logo) ask the ride's CM greeter at the front & he will give you a ticket you carry with you through a special line. However, at Splash Mountain, you can just walk up the exit & tell a CM at the loading/unloading area you are a single rider & he/she will let you into a special line off on the right. At Mulholland Madness, just go into the line farthest off to the ride (you'll see a sign for it) and the CM will notice you once you've walked all the way down it. For the rest of them, tell the greeter CM that you are a single rider & you will receive a ticket.

Also remember you can have 1 FastPass per network at any time during the day. The limitation is you must go either 2 hours or wait for your current FP's window to open, whichever comes first, before you can get another one.

Thanks and thanks Matt. I was wondering about the actual locations. If they are off to the left or hidden in some corner. I remember HM FP machine was way to the left up a path. We were just lucky finding it as we were exploring around. Know what I mean now? Thanks.

This is known as "Child Swap" & as far as I know, it's offered on every ride regardless.

This hasn't been available for 5 months...

They will only stop you from using SR if it is very short. Anything above 5 minutes and it'll be available.

You will go through the entrance, but then at the merge point you will be directed to a special line on the side for either theatre. Also, front row seating is by no means guaranteed. You will seat where you are instructed to sit, which could easily be gate C row 3.

False. Tower has never & most likely never will have Single Rider Service.

Thank you both again. I think this thread will help out others too. If you see me at DL, I'll be the guy with his head in a notepad walking briskly to get my next fastpass while reading the info on Splash Mountain single rider. Woo Hoo!

If people can add any more information to this thread, maybe Barfownz, you could edit your post on the first page to keep everything in one place for everyone who wants the info. If you want to? Up to you. Anyhow, thanks again.
