Question Downtown Disney (food)

I have an old pal who lives in L.A. who wants to come visit me during my DLR trip in September. He doesn't want to spend any time in the parks, just get together for dinner in Downtown Disney. We were thinking that to make the most of our evening, and see the most, we should just do appetizers at a bunch of places. Besides the Uva Bar, what other places are good for appetizers and drinks?

Brennan's Jazz Kitchen has a good appetizer sampler, especially if you like oyster shooters (I don't, but some do). Great atmosphere, too. Or you could do dessert there. They have a killer chocolate bread pudding. Takes time to prepare but is hot and delicious (one fed four at my table, very rich).

If you want good appetizers, visit ESPN Zone. They've got a full page or two devoted just to a wide range of appetizers. You can even order a $33 sampler that'll feed the whole team. Plus they've got wings, burgers, pasta, sandwiches, and great desserts.

Rainforest Cafe is great for the atmosphere and a filling meal, but the apps aren't as great as ESPN. If you want drinks, there's Uva Bar, and I believe there is a tequila bar in one of those restaurants where you can sample from hundreds of different tequilas.

Here's a list of all the DTD restaurants -- just click the one you want and it'll take you to the menu/pricing: http://allearsnet.com/dlr/din/dtd_rest.htm
