Disneyland Hotel Nov 2-3-4

Hi Everyone! I am planning a trip to DL and will be staying at the DL Hotel. Since I have never stayed there before and the monorail is down for refurbishment, how far of a walk is it into the park? Thanks!:

About 10-15 min at a comfortable pace. You have to walk all the way down through Downtown Disney and then through security and then into the Esplanade.

I like the walk thru Downtown Disney - lots of places to grab snacks and shop!

Yes, it is very beautiful, especially in the evening.

I always viewed it as a Disney plot to lure you to buy stuff. LOL!

How cynical!!

...Downtown Disney is full of nice shops and eateries, plus (at least last time I was there -- last month) lots of very talented musicias performing on the sidewalks. In fact, that was my favoritte part -- sitting on my balcony, writing in my journal, watching the fireworks at DL, and hearing the beautiful music from below...Heaven!!!
