Calling Guest Relations is a good call, I would recommend just telling them your situation. What would be needed to get extra services, its true many people try to fake injuries to get such passes, but if you tell them the situations you should be able to get some good answers and tips of how to make Disney more comfortable for a trip! Hope that helped.

I do not know the exact criteria for which City Hall looks for, but as a ride operator people hand me GACs for just about anything (surgery's, mental disabilities ect.).

So, I making a trip to DL for the first time not in the summer. We are going November 6-9, which is Thursday thru Sunday. What will the crowds be like then? Will they have any holiday decorations up? What will the temperature be like? Thanks for the help!

As far as crowds go, I think they will be pretty mild--your only busy day will be probably be Saturday. Haunted Mansion Holiday will be up and running, but I'm not sure if Disneyland will be decorated for the holidays yet. Hope this helps a little!

For those visiting during the summer, I went to DL on Saturday, July 26th and the attendance seemed much lighter than normal for a Saturday in July. No waiting at all at the turnstiles around 8:20 a.m.

One thing I was very surprised about was that I had no problem getting a table for lunch at the French Market. Usually I don't have my pick of tables, but this time I did - plus about 8 - 10 tables remained open all the time I was eating. This despite Queenie and the Royal Street Bachelors doing a show at the time!

Attendance seemed to pick up in late afternoon/evening.

I would call and also check what annual passports are able to be used, this will help in knowing if the crowds are locals or tourists. Be mindful that the local crowds are different that those that are filled with tourists.
