Default Dec 5-7

I'm going that weekend, i'm thinking that the crowds won't be too crazy.
Am i right or should I expect a pretty packed weekend?

I'm trying to convinve my husband to go that same time :)
I've heard that the first two weeks of Dec are usually fairly slow becuase it's after Thanksgiving but before everyone is out for Winter break. However, on the weekends, I bet it's still fairly busy with locals.... who wouldn't want to go to DL during the Christmas season :)

I'll be there on the 6th and 7th! :)

It shouldn't be TOO bad... however, that's the weekend of Candlelight, so a lot of people who usually aren't there will be there. It might be a bit crowded but I don't think it'll be crazy like the end of December.

I've gone at this time several years and always find it less crowded then later in the month. Have a great time!

:D :D ummm... I actually don't know, I'm going to camp out for my spot. Haha. It's both nights, so if you can't get one night you can try another. Or if I get really lucky and my boyfriend remembers to sign up for the CM raffle and gets tickets, I might get a spot. But that's a long shot.

I'm not sure... *looks around* Help anyone? You might want to call Disneyland or check the website or something... I can ask my favorite GR CM though and let you know, but I don't know if he'll know.

BUT HEY we'll be there at the same time! I'll be there both days, so I'll most likely run into you at some point :D

They're supposed to go on sale in about two weeks, but it's REALLY hard to get tickets -- you have to be on the ticket sale site as soon as the time to buy them comes because they sell out FAST. Last year I heard it was like... 10 minutes. I don't know, something insane like that.

You could always just camp out like I'm doing :D

Dr. Monsanto got tickets for it last year. You should private message him and find out how he did it. I know it is hard! The tickets don't include park entry, so it's an added expense. But, of course, they do include dinner. If I was going I would just do the standing room and not purchase the tickets.

Most of the seats are reserved for the choir directors and their guest i believe, which is probably why they sell out so fast. camping out probably has just as good of a view as the seats....

on the website it said that on the 18th at 6 pm they go on sale. It suggests that you call in RIGHT at 6 becuase they go so fast. I'm not sure if you can just buy the ticket for the performance... the pricing included a meal and listed some great restaurants. however, I don't need the food part. I guess I'll see when I call cause I'm not paying $80 for these tickets!

I don't think you can buy just a ticket, you have to buy the package. CAMP OUT WITH ME :) Well, my boyfriend is trying to get tickets through the CM raffle but we'll see about that.

... I'm going to be there on the 7th. The park calendar says its open until midnight so I am assuming I can avoid the candle light thing if I want and enjoy the rest of the park right?
