A couple of years ago, we went at the beginning of November and they had Christmas things up. I can't remember if the tree was up on Main Street, but they were playing Christmas music. I also remember after the fireworks show it started to snow in DL! They had snow blowing out and it really looked like it was snowing..it was cool. IASW was decorated for the holidays, so was HM. If you're going at the end of November, I'm sure they will have things up and running for the holidays. I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time!

we go every single year for the Christmas stuff. They put it up a week or so before Thansgiving usually. HMH goes up for Halloween, but that's the only thing that goes up super early. If you've never been for the Christmas season, prepare yourself. You'll never want to leave, and it will easily become your favorite time of year to go!
Good choice of days there! Not too busy since Thansgiving isn't til later in the week, and most kids aren't out for the winter break yet. You're going to have a blast.

According to the Disneyland website, "
Enjoy the Holidays at the Disneyland® Resort from November 21, 2008, to January 4, 2009" Here's the link:

Um Piglet you rule, that was so funny. Also, the have had the holiday stuff up earlier in the past, but now they decorate for Halloween (or fall...whatever) and they have made it be around the weekend before Thanksgiving, having the holiday parade kick off the season...it's the best time to go...period.

I watched Rudolph as well and the Little Drummer Boy a few weeks ago. I was actually listening to Christmas music from the home alone soundtrack today.

I may, I haven't fully decided yet. Isn't it suppose to be really busy that day?

So I've heard rumors that Disneyland closed early on Christmas Eve... and now we have confirmation (from the official Disneyland calendar)

December 24th [Christmas Eve]
Disneyland® park - 8:00a-9:00p
Disney's California Adventure® park - 10:00a-7:00p

(This is December 23rd
Disneyland® park - 8:00a-12:00a
Disney's California Adventure® park - 10:00a-9:00p)

I wonder why that is?
Is Christmas Eve less crowded? Or is it some type of special early closure?
