Question Chef's Counter at Napa Rose (and honeymoon)

I will be getting married and honeymooning at Disneyland in the beginning of August. I have found a few references to the Chef's Counter at the Napa Rose. Does anyone know anything about it? I am not really finding much in my searches on the web. Do you order from the normal menu or do you have a meal prepared specific to your tastes (a la Victoria and Albert's at WDW)? Does anyone have any idea on the costs? Is it worth it?

I'd really appreciate any information or advice you have on this. Additionally, if you have any suggestions for incredibly romantic things to do on our week at Disney, I'd love to hear your ideas.

Thanks, guys!

Congrats on yout upcoming wedding! I was at GCH last year, and ate at the Napa Rose, but I don't remember a Chef's Counter. They did have a really nice fixed-menu Winemakers Dinner, where the food and wine were preselected for you to compliment each other. Expensive, but VERY nice. And their regular menu items are WONDERFUL! So enjoy!!

I just hopped on here for find out the same thing! We are going to stay at the GCH in September as a make up honeymoon (WDW Honyemoon...long story). I have heard so many good things about Napa Rose and I just spoke to a gal at the restaurant. (The number DIRECTLY to them is 714-635-2300. If you want to sit at the Chef's Counter, you have to call them directly as opposed to calling for Priority Seating.) There is NO extra charge to sit there. You can order off the regular menu or have the chef prepare something. It is prciey but I have heard so many good things, I imagine it will be worth it!!!

Congrats and good luck!!

(Also, for romantic things to do: call their "special events" number (I have it at home, you can email me at mrs.bubbles_harrigan@yahoo.com and I can get it for you. They will be able to help you plan or figure something out!) :o)
