Hi All! My family and I are going to
in September and are finally going to the Blue Bayou for the first time. I have a 2 year old, and was wondering if I should actually get a kids meal for him, or pay the $4 split plate charge so he and I can share? Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

It would all depend on whether the child has an adult palate. Are you going for lunch or dinner? Do you think he would like fish and the other offerings of The Blue Bayou. I'd say play it safe and order the kids meal and let him graze off your plates if he wants to!

^^This would be my advice, too. You can always have them pack up his kids meal if he doiesn't finish it and he can snack on it later on. Have fun!

We always get my son the mac and cheese. i'm pretty sure it's just kraft, so nothing super crazy. He loves it. I wouldn't do the split plate charge cause none of the adult food is really kid friendly. That or you can take something in for him from somewhere else in the park. we've done that and they don't care. for a 14 year old they might, but not a 2 year old. In fact, come to think of it, at only 2 I bet they wouldn't even charge you the split plate fee. That's probably only if adults are splitting....
