Default Blue Bayou Question

I am planning on reserving a table for my group that is visiting in October. Although I checked the Disneyland website and for one of those days we will be gone Pirates of the Caribbean is closed. Does that mean that Blue Bayou is also closed? Or is the resturant still open?
I looked around and didn't see anyother posts related to mine, but if I missed it please feel free to merge it.

Thank You!

It looks like POTC is going down for a one month refurb in mid October and won't reopen until November 15. I think it's a pretty safe bet that the Blue Bayou will also be closed during that time.

Okay, Thanks Piglet. That is what I thought, but than again I was like maybe there was still a chance that Blue Bayou would remain open. Thank You! :)

I didn't see anything on the site saying it was closed. Pirates might just be closed for some testing or something, so BB might still be open.

It seems like a lot is closed when you were looking to go.

A little off topic, but I am bummed Fantasia! is closed during October.

Call Guest Relations: (714) 781-7290 7am to 7pm and ask them - there is always a change that The Blue Bayou might not be "down" with Pirates

If pirates is closed.. blue bayou is closed. I may be wrong but im pretty sure. IM guessing they will have the lights on working on pirates and etc..

and it wont be the same atmosphere if it was open caus the boats wont be going past and you won't hear an accasional scream! LOL

The boats may not be going by but they might not drain the ride right away - at least that's the way it used to be when they did a refurb on Pirates. I remember sitting in the Blue Bayou and it was weird when the boats weren't cruising by LOL!!

I called and they said that it's not listed as being closed. He said that if construction/refurbishment does interefere with the dining experience that they will close it. You can also find out by calling 60 days before you want to make a reservation because I'm sure that they will let you know if you can make a reservation or not by then.

If Blue Bayou is closed, have dinner at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney. It might actually be a tad cheaper or the same price with great food.

If it makes money (and since I just ate there a day ago and paid the bill for 4, I can say it definitely makes money) I would think it would stay open...I think it matters on what is being refurbed...if it is something below why wouldn't it stay open? On the other hand if the refurb was loud and/or ugly I think I think it would be closed...
