Talking Birthday Fun

Hi! My brother & I are taking our Mom to Disneyland for her 50th birthday. Get it? It's Disneyland's 50th AND hers! :) Anyways, I want to make her day as special as it can get. Does anyone know the best places and things to do at Disneyland for birthdays? I want to get her a birthday sticker to wear, where do I go to get it? Thanks so much for your help!

Kassie

yeah and if shes truely a kid at heart (like me!) she'll want to get a birthday phone call from Gooffy at city hall too ( same place you get the sticker) it's fun! Oh and ask to "steer" the Mark Twain, they'll let you go all the up top and "steer"! That's fun too!

Actually, during my birthday, we had breakfast at Storyteller's Cafe in GCH. My friend called ahead and mentioned that there was a birthday and I got a birthday button! It's great cause it lasts longer than the stickers. I even had a Sorcerer Mickey birthday bucket. But I think my friend's paid extra for that...

That's great! I took my mom to the Lilo & Stitch Aloha Breakfast for her 50th birthday. It was great because I made reservations in advance, so when we got there, they gave her a birthday button and our table was decorated with Mickey balloons! They also brought her a mini chocolate "cake" shaped like Mickey with fudge, raspberry jam, rainbow sprinkes and a candle on top.

When we got to Disneyland, I had my mom go to City Hall to listen to Goofy on the phone. She really thought that was cute! Then we went to Innoventions and Stitch sang Happy Birthday to her. And of course, almost every CM (and even guests!) wished her a Happy Birthday when they saw her button. She didn't really like all the attention though...

Now wait...Doesn't it seem like we should've done this on MY birthday?! Well, instead of getting birthday hugs from Stitch, I got them from Tigger. My birthday was just as fun! And I got to steer the Mark Twain for the first time on my b-day!

Oh yeah...Don't forget to get a pack of tortillas over at DCA!!
