Columbus day: (Level 3-4) Friday of Columbus day weekend: Level 4. The other days: Level 3. Stay away from DL if possible on the Fridays of long weekends. They tend to be PACKED.

October days when SoCal isn't blocked out: Level 2-3 (Level 2: 40%) (Level 3: 60%)
October days when Socal is blocked out (Saturdays): Level 1-2.

I suggest going SATURDAYS.

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, I can't avoid going on that weekend. It's either Columbus Day weekend or no Disneyland at all. Busy DL is better than no DL.

That helps. Thank you, but what do you mean by "blocked out"?

Sincerely, a brother of a half-demon,

SoCal Annual Passholders. They are the majority of the Disneyland AP family. Blocked out means they cannot go.

Yesterday was so-so. Cal Screamin' was about 5-10 minutes, and nothing was really too bad. But, Indy, the Matterhorn, and POTC all broke down near the end of the day.
