Default BCC's Crowd Report

Hello! This thread will be continually updated for your trip planning convenience!

Since I do go to Disneyland on a regular basis, I will provide information here on current crowds. Feel free to add to this thread!

PLEASE READ ME FIRST!!!
Level 1=Light
Level 2=Managable
Level 3= Crowded
Level 4= AVOID!!!

Week of August 17th, 2008.

Thanks to SoCal APers being unblocked, the crowds have surged. Toy Story Mania hit an estimated wait time of 60 mins. When it is really half an hour.

DCA was packed like sardines. Screamin had a wait time of 35-45 mins. Soarin 40 mins. GRR 45 mins. Nemo 1 hour. Space Mountain 45-50 mins. BLAB 20-35 mins.

DCA overall crowd level: Level 3.
Disneyland overall crowd level: Level 2.

Overall average wait time for rides: 35 mins.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Crowd Report for DCA for August 25th. (Level 2)

The morning was very light. Possibly because of schools starting up all this week. (Including mine) Almost a ghost town, but it got more crowded as the day progressed. TSMM had an esitmated queue time of 30 mins. Screamin's wait time was 30 mins long. Soarin was 20 mins. GRR was 15 mins. Calm before the storm. AKA Labor Day weekend.

I am unable to report on fireworks and fantasmic crowds at this time.

Prediction for Labor Day Weekend: NorCal residents may be making their drive down Thursday/Friday and filling up the parks Saturday and Sunday.

Disneyland: Level 3 (Regular Peak Season crowds. Unlike this summer) E-Ticket Rides: 30-60 mins.
DCA: Level 3 (Regular Peak Season crowds. Unlike this summer) TSMM: 30-45 mins. California Screamin: 40-60 mins. Soarin: 30-45 mins.

IT IS POSSIBLE THE CROWD LEVEL WILL REACH LEVEL 4. 40% chance.

The solution to overcrowding of disneyland...
Make a copy of Disneyland, shrink it, copy it some more, then sell it, and make a plausible way to shrink people so we'd each have our own Disneyland. That'd be sweet.

I keep hearing the week after labor day is empty, I hope so. Seems like it would be, school just started, and everyoneis done with their summer vacations, and no big holidays are close.

i went that week and I didn't get on TSMM. The lines were awfully long and I was with a fairly large party. The line stretched down to screamin and back. Maybe next time.

We went the week after Labor Day last year, and it was quiet as a mouse of the non-Mickey variety. We'll be going the same time this year. (2.25 work days left and counting!)

We went the 22nd of December, and it was empty. Christmas will be WAY more crowded though

Do you have any predictions of October? I heard that they're not crowded at all because of Knott's Scary Farm.

Sincerely, a brother of a half-demon,

This is pretty helpful! I hope the crowds for sometime early next month won't be so bad.
