Default Anyone ever stay at the Super 8 Motel?

We are staying at the Super 8 Motel - Disneyland/Convention Center. It is on Katella Ave, and we've never stayed there before. I would love to hear any thoughts on this motel. It doesn't have to be fancy, just clean. Thanks!!

I actually stayed there with my boyfriend on our first trip together, and we just wanted a cheap one because we wouldn't be in the room that much. This was pretty much perfect. It is clean, doesn't smell bad or anything. :) Two things to keep in mind... if you use a hair-dryer regularly, bring your own, or you have to see if there are any at the front desk (there are none kept in the rooms), and also, it is a bit of a walk to the park entrance, so anticipate that when trying to get there at opening, or back for a show or something. Other than that, have a great time!

Yep i stayed there aswell, and found it just what we needed. Just a basic room, continental breakfast! Its a little bit of a walk, but deffinetly worth it for the price. Theres no coffee makers inside the room, but you can get all the coffee you want in the morning from the free breakfast! There is also a swimming pool in the parking lot which is great for the hot days. Other then that, I enjoyed it and would probably stay there again! Great prices!

I've stayed at a Super 8 before -- not in DL, but in LA -- and I was surprised. The rooms were very large and comfortable. There's not too many amenities of course, but if all you need to do is just sleep and shower, it's a good choice for the price.

Thanks for the info. I always get alittle nervous staying at a new place. We've stayed at the Park Place a couple of times and really liked it, but have you seen how much the rooms are at the end of June???!!! That's crazy stuff!

It could be one block, but that block may be long.

I would guess around 15-20 minute walk depending on how fast you walk. They say 1 block but it's more like 2 to 2 1/2 blocks to the pedestrian entrance cause you have 1 really long block which is more like 2 blocks and then about half a block or so down Katella. It's about a block to the entrance of Disneyland itself once you get to the pedestrian crosswalk entrance. You can use the ART bus to get to the entrance and back, it costs $3 a day per person or just drive yourself and park in the DL parking structure for $10 a day. If you are used to walking a long way and it doesn't bother you at all, it's probably not that bad of a walk but for us, when we stayed at a place close to Katella Ave, the walk back after a long day at Disneyland seemed like a long long way lol.
Have a great trip!

I have stayed at a Super 8 before in Denver I thought it was pretty decent. I looked them up on the map and it's about a 15 minute walk.
