Annual Pass redemption?

Hey guys, I have a quick question. (BTW, I hope you all had a great holiday - I've been so busy lately I haven't had a chance to pop in here and post.)

But anyway. I need an answer to this fast, because I need to call my co-worker and tell her.

She bought a 4-day hopper pass to Disneyland, and she wanted to buy an Annual Pass for herself and her kids by going to Disneyland and paying the difference. But her kids are sick and she doesn't want to take them again tomorrow, and that's the last day of her pass. What she wants to know is - can she still apply the cost of her hopper passes to an AP even if they're not valid anymore? If not, she's going to go down tomorrow and renew them.

If you can let me know as soon as possible, thanks! (I would call DL but I think they're closed now.)

From what I understand, you have to upgrade your hopper ticket to an annual pass BEFORE it expires. I would suggest your friend go down and upgrade tomorrow before it's too late! Too bad the kids are sick but at least they can go another time if they have AP's!

you can upgrade as long as there are days left and the 14 or 13 days expiration has not passed.

What's the 13/14 days' expiration? I've never heard of that.

say you have a three day pass- you have 13 or 14 days from your first visit to use the rest of the days on the pass...

Really? I didn't know that. Hmm.

I called the travel center this morning and they said that you have to renew it before you use the last day on your pass, so my coworker is there right now renewing it. :) Thanks for your help, though!

yeah... that is what I said.... you have to upgrade before you use the last day. But you have 13/14 days from your first visit to use your entire park pass.
