1st Timer Badge

My boyfriend and I are going to Disneyland in August, and he has never gone. Where can I get a 1st timer badge for him?

I've never seen one; I'd say check at City Hall -- that's where you get birthday badges and stuff.

Yeah, I saw a guy wearing a button like that last time I went which was like two weeks ago. I do believe you get them in City Hall.

Yep, City Hall has all kinds of buttons for different occasions! Make that your first stop when heading up Main Street.

if you ride the fire truck down main st make a comment to the driver that this is your first time to Disneyland they also have "1st visit to disneyland" buttons

I am so bummed! We took our son for the first time in 2004 and I would love to have one for him--can I still get one or do they want some sort of proof it's a first visit??

You do not need proof I have 3 of them for Oceana one CM when I told him that we already have one he gave it to us anyways saying it was the 1st time we had been in the fire truck with him so it qualified :)

If you forget to pick one up at City Hall or if the line is too long, you can also get the button at the Information board to the left of the hub. They usually have all the buttons - birthday, first time, honorary citizen, etc.

City Hall on Main Street. No one's going to check to see if its really your first time... I mean, how can you prove it? lol.. I have one as a souvenir, but you'll never see me wearing it lol cuz I'm proud to be in my 21st year of visiting Disneyland.

Main Street's City Hall also carries Honorary Citizen buttons, in addition to the First Visit, Birthday, Anniversary, Just Married buttons. Just ask the Cast Member at City Hall for the button you would like.

DCA's Guest Relations carries the same buttons that City Hall does, as well as the Main Street GR Information Board.

Furthermore, limited buttons may be available from: Main Street Vehicles, Disneyland Railroad: Main Street Station, Main Street Emporium, Star Trader, Gag Factory, Adventureland Bazaar, Greetings from California, Treasures in Paradise, Man Hat'n'Beach/Point Mugu Tattoo/Sideshow Shirts complex, California Scream Cam.

I got one just by sitting around waiting for the fireworks one time -- some CM was like "do you want an Honorary Citizen button?" and I was like HECK YES! :)

But yeah, you can get all the buttons listed above, and no, they don't check -- I have a first time button (it actually says 61st visit, because my boyfriend works in that department and he got me one, haha), two birthday buttons -- maybe three -- a Happy Anniversary button, and a Family Reunion button. They also have one for Just Married as well... I think they might have more than that but I know for a fact they have those.
