You have a talent there xfkirsten. I'm saving my money so I could buy a digital camera of my own and the one I want costs about $400. I want to go on trips and take pictures like some of the members here on VF do. I'm hoping to go to Canada and buy a digital camera that I saw in Wal*Mart that costs $14 so I could just use it on that trip and save the rest of my money for the trip and buy an actual camera. Love the pictures.

Love the shots in Indy. I'm going to take some shots of Indy next time.

BTW, Sesshomaru-sama, what camera is the one you want?

Can your camera zoom in alot? From your Fantasmic shots it looks like you were right up next to them!

Well, yes and no. It's a digital SLR, so it depends on which lens I'm using at the time. For Fantasmic, I usually use my 70-300mm lens, often zoomed in as far as it will go or close to it. Plus, Canon camera have a 1.6x crop, so when I'm zoomed in all the way, it's like I'm using a 400+mm lens.

Beuatiful pics. The tulips came out awsome. I love the dew drops just hanging on them. I really like your RDCT pics too. Thanks for sharing your pics, you got a good eye. OK, maybe both.

These are really great. You say you got these without a tri-pod in low light? I have a digital SLR and can't get anything like this (need more practice). You said you used 1600 ISO and aperture priority for the rides. did you use that same setting for Fantasmic and the parade? Awesome stuff. thanks

The fact that she can do this without a tripod is not the amazing part. It is the fact she can this without a tripod while on lots of caffeine is the amazing part.

Seriously, she is very talented.

Default Great pic's and hey, this is my 500th post!

Wow, awesome pictures =) I love to look at people's pictures to see what has changed since I was at the park last, and your shots are awesome and really crisp! Thanks for posting them and speaking of posts, this is my 500th one! I have miles to go before I catch up with PMM, though =)
PS--My husband is a sports photographer and currently shoots with a Canon EOS 20D, but wants to upgrade to a 1D Mark 2 as soon as he can. He has always used Canon equipment =)

Yup, I don't even own a tripod. Wish I did - I'd love to do long-exposure shots of the fireworks! Fantasmic I've done a couple of different ways - manual and shutter priority. I was really lazy, so I put it on shutter priority (1/200th sec) and just shot it at that. The parade I think I did the same.

I love the Canon equipment! My previous cameras have been Canons, and I've been thrilled with them. They've got a loyal customer here!
