Just thought you guys might be inteested in seeing this trailer. The movie looks VERY powerful and is the first Oliver Stone movie I've wanted to see in a long time.

Hmmm. So Oliver Stone finally decided to make an appearance again huh? I am not sure what to think about this movie. Mixed feelings.

^ From everything I've heard, Stone decided to make this movie as a tribute to those who died, and conspiracy-free. I think it looks very moving. Just curious, but wgat causes you to have mixed feelings on this one? Is it the director? Or the relative soonness? Just curious...

And yes, I know soonness isn't a word.

Wow! This movie looks very powerful and the trailer alone brought me to tears. I think it will be painful to watch, but hope that Oliver Stone did indeed do justice to those who selflessly went in to the towers to save people, and to those who lost their lives that day.

I'm just happy that Oliver Stone didn't include any conspiracy theories and stuck to what happened that day. I remember there was a tv movie not long ago about United 93 (not the theatrical movie, but a strait to tv movie on A&E or something) and at the end it gave some conspiracy theories about 9/11 which just ruined the entire thing for me.

My mom wants to see it more than me so she is begging for me to go with her to see it so that she isn't alone. I know, shouldn't it be the other way around?

Well I am not sure. After I read this post and saw the trailer I really don't feel like watching it. Not that it is too soon for something like this, I could hardly care if they made it the same day, I just don't think we need a movie about this. And not because it was such a tragedy. Is our country in that low of a morale that we need another "patriotism" spike? First it was the plane movie and now the tower movie. Oh wait, isn't Jarhead part of this too? What a horrid movie that was. Are we gonna have a president movie too? I don't know. It just bugs me for some reason. I am still trying to figure out why it bugs me. Sorry I can't really define why, but for now it just does.

Unhappy horrible day

I can understand that. What a horrible day that was... our eyes were glued to the television all day long as we saw the same footage of that plane hitting the tower over and over and over again. Yeesh! It's burned into my braincells forever. It's not something I would ever want to voluntarily look at again.

I really don't have any feelings about that day other than it was not a good thing that happened, I kinda think "Hollywood" doesn't need to make money on this. But than again didn't "Hollywood" make money off of Titanic? Let alone many other tragic incidents that have happened over time. I guess it is that I amm fed up with hearing about it and all the stupid merchandise for supporting your "patriotism" that had been out as a result of it. I thnk this is just one more. I would get more political but I don't want this to get any farther than it has already. As it is it is not an easy subject to not have controversy over.
