I know a lot of fellow Disney fans like me have purchased Disney ringtones... if you have what is it and why?

I made my own ringtones from my Disney MP3's. I have the vultures from Splash, several Haunted Mansion, Some Chronicles of Narnia, a few Nightmare Before Christmas, and a couple Wall-E ringtones. I have different ones assigned to different people, messaging, and calls. It is nice to hear a little Disney each time my phone rings.

Thats so cool! So far I have the audio from the Teacups, Zip-a-dee-dooh-dah, and when you wish upon a star, but i'm working on making a "Welcome Foolish Mortals," ringtone as we speak! lol!

I have pirates for blackberry messenger, different haunted mansion clips for text, email and facebook messages, star tours jingle for pix messages, and electrical parade for phone calls. I'm working on getting more for my calendar alerts, alarm, and task manager. Wheneve my phone goes off I always smile, so does whoever is near me.

I have "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes" for when my husband calls and "The Tiki Room" theme for my daughter. I also have Emperor's Theme theme for my ex husband because I dread hearing from him.

I *JUST* made a ringtone of the singing busts in Haunted Mansion, and my background is now a print of the Haunted Mansion done by SHAG to honor the Mansion's 40th bday! yay!

I love it when my phone goes off and its a disney song, it immediately brightens other people's day!

mine is not really Disney, but it's heard throughout DL's Tomorrowland often times.... it's the Imperial March! I chose it because John Williams is my favorite film composer and Star Tours is my second favorite attraction... also, I couldn't find "Permanacer Sentados, Por Favor!" and I don't know how to make ringtones...

I don't purchase them since I can just edit the songs I have and upload them via data cable, but I have two text/voice tones, one is Tigger's growl and the other is the turnstile tone. I can set a different ringtone for all my contacts and then I have one set as a default and I've got lots of them:

DCL Whistle
Part of the Your World 'Music Box' (the bar between Bast sees the grotto and Flounder asking Ariel if she's okay)
MSEP section of RDCT
Parade of Dreams 'Music Box'
RDCT 'President' Section (right before 'Hang on to your hats and glasses)
Train section of RDCT
Cinderella Waltz
'Run Llama Run' from Emperor's New Groove
POTC section of RDCT
Monsters Inc Opening Titles
Fantasmic!
Ten Minutes Ago (from the 1997 Rodgers and Hammerstein telefilm version Disney did)
'Washing' Whistle from Snow White (during the washing song, I have the whistle up until Doc says 'Get him')
Mickey Mouse March from KHI
'Hades' ring from Hercules (it's the last 30 seconds of the movie, if you haven't ever heard it's it's hilarious)
Remember the Magic (from Disney Cruise Line) instrumental Exit
Believe in Holiday Magic opening

And I want to make new ones for this Christmas.

I made my own. I have from the PeopleMover ride, the Tron segment at the beginning with the MCP telling you you have invaded. That is my brother's ringtone, and then I have one of the songs from the Tiki Room as my GF's ringtone. I believe it is the song the Bird's of Paradise flowers sing.

How do you make ringtones from MP3s and how do you insert them in your phone?

I have Space Mountain (New Daytime Track), the part after the sudden dip, as my text message ringtone and Tarzan's Treehouse music walk-thru, found in 50th Anniversary soundtrack, as my reminder alert ringtone.

^ I have an iPhone so I just take any song or sound file I have and bring it into Garageband (comes with any Apple computer), then I choose a section I want and tell it to create a ringtone. The only other step is to drag the file to the icon of my phone in iTunes and I am done.

What I use since I don't have an iphone, (lol lucky!), is I go to myxer.com and you can make your own rigntones by uploading your own songs and selecting the part of the song you want as your tone. You just follow the instructions and it helps! For example not only did I make a ringtone of the singing busts in Haunted Mansion, but I made one thats an instrumental version of Beauty and The Beast.

I typically don't even bother with websites, but that's because I have audio-editing software on my computer. It's freeware called Amplify, and it's really nice to have. And then you can send it to your phone the same way you send a text to your phone via email. Or spend five bucks on a data cable if your phone didn't come with one.
