This one is the monkey Hanuman from the film Sita Sings The Blues. Comic strip cartoonist Nina Paley animated an entire feature length film completely by herself! She designed, produced, directed, wrote, and animated the entire thing herself. Just herself and a personal computer (and her cat). She had a sound designer and a handful of musicians and actors for the soundtrack. It took her five years to create this movie.

I usually pick something that has similar features to my favorite Disneyland character, Ezra. In this case, it's a real stretch. This monkey isn't much like Ezra at all, (except for the pale blue color, and one eye appearing slightly larger...) but I like Nina's sense of style, and Hanuman is such a cute character. And I like Indian folktales.

My avatar has always been Sesshomaru from the anime InuYasha. He is a villain, so to speak, but does seem to have a kind heart for only one human child, who he allows to follow him all over feudal Japan. I just love him.

This picture is the one I've always looked for. I really like how the coloring looks and how beautiful the letters look, forming his name. I'm going to change it soon, though, since I did have it for a year. I hope to find a better picture.

I just changed my avatar a few days ago to a pic I took at the Celebrate Street Party in DL on my b'day. I love the colors, the way the dancer in the foreground looks, and the action of the scene. It reminds me of good times and good feelings at DL and reminds me to celebrate today no matter what is going on.

When I came back to VF after a year I wanted to change my avatar. It was time for something new. So yes, I dubbed myself as the Princess. My avatar has my screen name and it says "the princess is back" Signaling my return to VF. :] All must bow at this time. ;D

Mine is just a pile of Mickeys, for no apparent reason other than that I love Mickey. My real pride and joy is my signature, though. I'm very proud of how it turned out :)
