Default What do you think ruins a t.v. episode?

What do you think ruins a t.v. episode? For me it's blasphemy. Last night I watched a few episodes of I Love Lucy and I caught Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz misusing the name God. This mistake bothers me more in shows like ALF, I Love Lucy and Star Trek than shows like Night Court and Newsradio where blasphemy is to be expected.

^what Ezra said, and commercials. There are so many just to cover production costs and air time. Without commercials, you could watch an entire season of 24 in 18hrs!!!

with out commercials then wouldn't each episode be like 15 minutes. I hate it when t.v. shows just go off topic and just get really weird. it just ruins it for me.

I hate it when the story is building and then, because they have run out of time, it's a quick..."and this is what happened, the end" kind of ending. Jeez...make it a two parter or something.

I hate those thousands of crime drama shows where the hero suddenly is able to make these incredible leaps to conclusions on facts they couldn't possibly have known in order to solve the case. I stopped watching CSI shows completely after CSI:Miami came out. The worst offender.

The only crime show I watch now is NCIS, more for the interaction of characters than the mystery. I'm usually able to guess the 'bad guy' before the first half of the show.

I hate when shows just keep using the same plotlines between shows.

I think that when after you mow the lawn and you have a bunch of the grass all over you because the trapper bag was broken. Yeah that does.

This is post number 666 for me. The worlds going to end.

Forced chemistry between characters. Nothing is more annoying to watch than a show trying to build a relationship between characters without there being any kind of chemistry between the actors. It's just so unengrossing to watch.

Unnecessary use of sex.

I mean, seriously. The plot can do without it.

When people are in it just for the money. Like SNL that show used to be hilarious now they just want to make money.
