cool Pictures. WDW Fantasmic is an example of a pre rigged stage. All the mats and rigging stuff is already done. The only thing that is not already done I think is the loading of the pyro.

Disneyland Fantasmic! always hides the special effects, the props, and the rigging after the show or before the show. The island is transformed at nighttime as you wait. It is made by 'Disney Magic'. I love it when the change the island at nighttime. It is fun to wait for the show, when the island is changing.

Yeah that scene with the water curtain is really aweseome! So pretty. I haven't seen the stage up close, thanks for sharing those images :)

look at these badly hidden Maleificent's mechanics thats y i call it I see Maleificent. Doesnt in the first one Maleficent is short? In the second one under the head is the mechanics!

Yeah, I that happened one time I was watching it. The wind was strong enough that it wouldn't stop the show, but it blew the costumes and the dragon. And sometimes the dragon gets stuck trying to come out of the mountain. Oh, and I've been meaning to say this: The reason why Fantasmic! isn't performed like DL, is because WDW is right above sea level so the dragon can't come up from the ground, and our Rivers of America is smaller than yours; so it just wouldn't be right to perform on TSI, and Disney-MGM Studios didn't have a nighttime show to give.

one thing it is not open during the day. its in a huge areana and only opens like half an hour before the show starts, how did you get those pics? the stage is closed during the day

Two hours before the show starts. They're planning to make it 30 mins.

Are you serious?

That's asking for crowd control nightmares! An hour, I think they could possibly be able to work it, but 30 minutes will be a total mess. I mean, I did the full two-hour wait many times during my College Program, and even that early, there were people lined up down the street waiting to get in...
