ok. Who is freaking excited for the Twilight movie to come out?!

And on top of that... Breaking Dawn will be out in August!!

I love Twilight... anyone else share my love..?

Though I have not yet read the book (I don't want to buy it before I like it and my library has all copies checked out), the comcept does appeal to me and I hope to read and see Twilight.

See I borrowed the first book from a friend. I was very skeptical about it. But once I started it I wanted to own it myself. I ended up buying the second and third.

Anyways, its a brilliant book. It will keep you on the edge of your seat and it's one of those that you literally can't put down, even to go to bed.

I actually like these books better than Harry Potter cause they have my romance fix that I HAVE to have.

I borrowed it too! I ended up buying all three, and my other friend borrowed them from me. Even she ended up buying them. I love everything about these books. I am typically a slow reader, but I read them in like two days! And, I've read them more than once. I have to say, I don't enjoy the second one as much, and for obvious reasons (if you've read it).

Everyone should read these books. I have guy friends who read them too....

Ah, my cousin just convinced me to start this series (which I still haven't done, but plan to, soon). She says they're quite addicting! I looove reading (especially very GOOD books, haha), so I'm excited.

k I don't know how old the rest of you are, but I'm 26 and I have a major crush on the Edward character! I'm a dirty old lady haha. She really wrote them with every woman's dream guy in mind. Charming! I read them all in one weekend...my hubby just laughed when he saw I was still in the same jammies Sunday afternoon! I can't wait for the new one, though I'm a little skeptical of the movie...what if it isn't as good as my imagination is!

I was scared about the same thing. But I've watched some behind the scenes things and the previews... and I can say its exactly what I would've wanted. And the fact that the author, Stephenie Meyer, is working with the director and she is the one who picked out the actors, makes me feel better about the movie.

Well, I've now finished Twilight and am halfway through New Moon. What I said about them probably becoming addicting? True. lol.

I think it's great that Edward is so appealing to everyone. lol. I think it's because Meyer constantly reiterates how very attractive he is, not to mention his wit, sense of humor, and romantic...ness. lol.

And I agree with what you said about the film... Film adaptations of books are always like that, though. It's like, you don't know what to expect until you see it. But author involvement is always reassuring.

And from what I've seen, the actors don't really seem to match up with what I had initially imagined. Like, I can imagine that it would've been extremely difficult to cast Edward (although Robert Pattinson is quite dreamy), because he's just supposed to be so darn good-looking!

have you gals gone to stephanie's website and read the chapter one from the point of view of Edward? It's just a rough draft, but it's really good! I don't know if I'd want to reread the entire story from his point of view, cause I like that NOT knowing what he's thinking keeps that mysterious feeling, but for one chapter, it is kind of cool! :)

It's just the first chapter of the first book? I'd love to read it, if it doesn't give anything away from the other books! Otherwise, I'll wait until I'm done with the other two.

Its the first chaper of Twilight only in Edwards point of view. Its really cool. I would like to read it, and that is the Author's next project after Breaking Dawn comes out.
