Default Tron in Kingdom Hearts 2

I've been playing Kingdom Hearts 2, which is a really fun game, and i met Tron which was pretty cool. I guess Tron was on the peoplemover but what's the story behind Tron? I'm too young to remember. Has anyone else played that game and if so what did you think of that part?

My 9 year old nephew was just playing that level last week and asked the same question. They did have the Tron section on the peoplemover but it was also a movie. I think it was about a guy who got sucked in to a computer and had to literally play the computer games or whatever in order to get out again. It was an early 80's movie.... I liked that part of the peoplemover!

Haha! It was on last night at like midnight on the sci-fi channel. It was my first time actually watching it too. Basically its the same as Kingdom Hearts, the MCP (Master computer Program) is trying to plot a downfall against the users (humans). A programer named Glenn gets sucked into the computer when trying to hack into something ( I dunno, they were speaking in nerd) there he meets someone named Ram (who dies) and Tron who fights for the users. Then they start the game playing with Pong of Death and with Light Cycles (basically that game snake)then they try to escape and destroy the MCP. I would tell you the rest, but you gotta watch it yourself. Hope I've helped you guys out.

OK Jeff Bridges is the main actor in Tron. He had designed a bunch of games for this company and they stole his work and fired him. Well he had te chance to get back and hack the computer but in the process the Master Program sucked him in cause it didn't like him doing that. He is a user but everyone else in the computer is a program. tron is a program designed by the other guy to also destroy the Master program. They team up and go to battle. Anyway you have to see the movie. It is a peice of art. nothing like it. there is even a hidden mickey in the movie. Well it is actually easily seen.

My 9 year old son beat that level a couple of weeks ago and I had to explain Tron to him. I'm going to try to pick it up on DVD so he can see the movie. I remember it's "graphics" being pretty cool, but I bet by todays standards it actually pretty pathetic. One of the best parts of the movie was the lightcycle races.

Tron was filmed in black and white. The artists then took each frame and blew them up to an animation cell size. The painters then added all the color to the film. Watching the making of it was amazing. Good stuff. Oh and plus since they didn't have the technology to review their work before rendering the CGI and being on a tight deadline, the cyclone part almost wasn't in the movie. If the render failed or came out wrong, that scene would have been scrapped.
