You know what that means, The exact date when the whole 50th celebration started. Do you think Disneyland will have anything planned. I don't think so? What are your thoughts?

probaly not, there so busy with all the subs, the 50th thing, and all other sorts of stuff, they probably forgot that it's been a year! but who knows

Eh, it doesn't seem like an event they need to celebrate. It's just a date they picked to start the celebration.

5/5/05 was only a big deal because it was the launch of the 50th.

Did they do this for the 30th or 40th?

I know they had a special for the 10th anniversary as seen in "Disneyland USA"

Probably not the 30th or 40th. 50 years is half a century (a lot more important my guess is).

the importance of 05/05/05 was the 50 referance with in the date. (3x)
i don't believe anything special will happen there tomorrow.

They are honoring 5/5/06 on channel 10 where i live. Its a huge special on DLR. i'm watching it now. :)

That's interesting, I completely forgot about it. I'm not sure what else Disney has left to celebrate, I think they're done with......wait...do you think it's possible that they might introduce Rock It Mountain tomorrow? (It's highly unlikely, but hey, who knows?)

I hope they're not doing anything. I'm at the park all day tomorrow and it's really more for pleasure than dealing with a mess.

I'll let you know if I see anything, but 5/5/05 was just a marketing bull-hockey puck. I don't believe they're going to do anything to acknowledge it. I doubt they're going to do too much to acknowledge the 51st on 7/17. Doing so would be to admit that the 50th is over, and they can't do that until September.

It's been a year =D Very glad at whatever compelled me to fly to LA spur of the moment on May 4th so I could make it to the meet. And I mean spur of the moment :P But I met half the people I know on here that day

Even got a big crush on one ever since ;P. While July 17th might rank a little higher for me, this was the biggest "VF" day I think there's been at the park. Cheers!
