I remember Double Dare! We took our kids to see it live when it came to our town. They SO wanted to go onstage to get all messy, but they didn't get picked. And I was relieved =)

Trapper Keepers and Miami Vice haha. I had a major crush on Don Johnson...I wasn't allowed to watch the show cause I was "too young" but I'd sneak in when my dad was watching it and peek around the chair. I'm sure he knew I was there :)
Oh and what about Paula Abdul....back when she was making hits!

The Legends of the Hidden Temple! I loved that show on Nick. Where they have to go through the obstacle course.

Friday Night Videos on NBC!

My apartment complex back then didn't have cable forever... had to watch "Yes" "Owner of a lonely heart" on Friday Night Videos... and their celebrity VJ's like Hulk Hogan and Captain Lou Albano with Cindy Lauper!

Speaking of cable TV, our cable system in the 80's had a manual switchbox you had to have on top of your tv to switch from "A" side to "B" side channels! You had like 70 channels on each side, but had to get to the switch to get to the other half! What a dorky system! Then it was a big deal in the early 90's when they came out with a cable box that switched from "A" to "B" with the same remote as the cable box... instead of just engineering a system where all the channels were on one cable. DORKY!

Oh! I loved that show! I still watch it sometimes, haha.

Ah, good ol' Pokemon. Me and my brother must have had a million of them. I remember once my brother bought a new deck, and he already had all the cards that were in it, so he started to cry, hahahaha.

Fresh Prince

Oh...and Members Only Jackets. I have a red one!

Rainbow Brite, Jem, and She-Ra were also favorites of mine. I had the Jem doll were her earrings lit up!

"There's always something good on SelectAVision!" The old precursor to laserdiscs (and ultimately DVDs) from RCA that played movies and videos but skipped like a record.

Laserdiscs! I still have over 300 of 'em and two players!

^When I first met my husband, he asked if I wanted to watch a laser disc! I had no idea what he was talking about. I was shocked to see a record sized CD! We have a lot of laser discs and a player too!

When I was little I went through this phase where all I wanted to be was a Solid Gold Dancer! Haha!

My grandparents finally replaced their old microwave oven with a knob timer with one with a key pad a few years ago! That thing was huge!
