Why is everybody so hard on Legoland. Its like a theme park made out of legos. I used to be addicted to Legos! It really is a fun place.

I love it, too. I used to play with Legos when I was a kid, and I still do on ocassion. Going there and seeing Minitown, USA is awesome, and the first time I ever went I got one of their kits you could build but then had to give back.... I could sit there for hours.

And don't give me that look....we're all here because of our inner child. Mine just happens to like Legos and Disney....

Legoland is great and all but you can't really compare Disneyland to it. It is obvious which is superior.

But we do have annual passes there as well.

SD also has the Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Knott's Soak City, seaside amusement areas, and lots and lots and lots of historical sites, my favorite being Cabrillo National Monument.

DLR should NOT be here. We have enough tourists as is. Anaheim is not that far from where I live.

Obviously, DL is fine where it is. It was meant to be in Anaheim. Period. That's why plans for Burbank (although it would have been a LOT smaller and different from what we know today) were scrapped.

Plus you know how much money it would cost to bring disneyland to San Deigo. sooo much. I think to rebuild disneyland exactly as it is today. Would be one of the most expencive disney projects to date, thats how far disneyland as gone in anaheim.

Keep in mind people...When Walt started building of Disneyland, he hired a specific group of analysts to find the best area to build a theme park based on location, weather, geographical features, etc. Anaheim was chosen because of it's prime location near major populated areas, it wasn't against a body of water (which would, at the time, limit park expansion), the weather wasn't ridiculously hot (at the time)...so, not to kill the subject here, but Walt didn't just pick the Anaheim location out of a hat.

That said, I dunno. Would have been closer to me. :)

Yes the San Diego Zoo, the Wild Animal park (ran by the San Diego Zoo) And yes there is a sea world there. Plus San Diego is Close to the ocean so yea i think its cooler, it also rains alot more. So I think it has its ups and downs. But then we'd have lots more orange juice.

well as a San Diego girl, born and rasied. Id have to say that it'd be much easier to drive there cause it would be shorter. It'd be interesting I guess. Then San Diego would be famous for having Disneyland. But like all has said, we have the zoo, sea world and such. I think a Disney park is magical no matter where it is.

i like the fact that the North American disney theme parks all are located next to large cities, but are actually in small towns.
