Default SEMA show... THE American hot rod show

Vegas, Baby!

SEMA is THE American auto show. It's held every fall in Las Vegas. I've dreamed about being able to even be in Vegas during this time because just around the convention center is supposed to be every custom car junkie's slice of automotive heaven. To get IN you have to be an employee or owner (or member of the press) of an auto aftermarket parts manufacturer or retailer... guess who I work for!!??

My employer is sending me to shoot the event and blog about it while I'm there. I am SO jazzed!

I'll post the link here when I start putting up pictures.

I'll be there only a couple of the 5 daysof the show, but my goal is to meet (and fall down at the feet of) Chip Foose, a true hot rod/customizing artist.

I'll be there November 4 & 5 (thu & fri)

VEGAS, BABY!

That is Awesome, I'm jealous! Looking forward to seeing your pics.
So for clarification, is it the 4th & 5th, Tues & Wednesday or the 6th & 7th, Thus & Fri?

^Nice! Is that a '55 Chevy? My dad had a '56 for awhile and my grandpa has a '57. Instead of leaving in a limo after our wedding, we left in the '57! It was awesome. My first car was a '69 Camaro. I still have it. I'll have to dig up a photo and post it.

Brett, have fun! That is so cool! I am totally looking forward to seeing your photos! I love Chip Foose as well. I even tried getting my dad on Overhaulin' for his 62 Corvette......but I never got contacted . Have a great trip!

Does it have the continental kit on the back? My dads had that and a spotlight! It was his dream car, but he never had a chance to fix it up. He sold it (I'm not sure why). Now he has the '62 Corvette as a project car. I was wondering where in nor-cal you lived. I could see the hills in the background and thought it looked like the Mt. Diablo area. We're practically neighbors!
