Great news! I hope your watching the rose parade, because the Disney castle float won a trophy at the rose parade. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEE!

Did anyone tape the Disney segment from this year's Rose Parade? The float wtih all the castles was amazing! And I have to find out where I can buy that new song!

i taped it on my dvr i saw some of it but not the disney part. It was pouring buckets the whole time i feel sorry for the band ppl!

it was about an hour and a half into the parade.
cool fireworks from the float as well.
(yes, fireworks in the rain!!!)

Im confused..what is the rose parade..i may already know it and just cant remember right now but... Oh and did anyone see the christmas parade special at DW with parts about the DL parade? or is that the rose parade?ahhhhhh!!! just answer this question... what is the rose parade?

The Rose Parade comes on after Christmas. It has something to do with college football and all the different "bowls" that are happening. All the floats in the parade are made out of flowers and seeds and grass and you get the point. I watched it today and enjoyed the Disneyland float a lot. After that I fell asleep becaus I didn't go to sleep last night.

Edit: Whoa! I'm back down to 500 posts. I reached that goal last night. Weird...

yeah, i think it was daddyb who fixed, but knowing me im probably wrong..check the thread that you wrote in last night to be sure..that is were they fixed it. the one that 2goodforu started and thanks...yea i know what the rose parde is and it is cool i just didnt see it this year.

I knew that the Disney float would win a trophy. It was the best float of the parade. None of the other floats had fireworks boosters.

The fireworks that they used were some of the same ones from fantasmic, i could tell

Anyway I'm really pissed off that they cut the parade float because of the stupid religious protesters protesting the war. I thinking about starting a new thread about that. Thats why they didnt really so anything for the ending and they just said guess what, its over. So it was a bummer.

this is just an opinion, but i think disneyland didn't really care about the true magic of the rose parade, i think what they did is make one big advertisment for there new hong kong park. Sure there were fireworks, but disneyland still really care about making people happy, or do they just care about making money. another example of them advertising in the rose parade was there tower of terror float. remember this is just my opinion.

I was more excited about seeing Quasimodo in the dance line up than seeing the float itself.
But the display was impressive.

Are you kidding? Its all about the money. Not when Walt Disney was in charge. When he was in charge, it was all about magic and making people happy. But slowly that magic died and from it being a real life dream, it turned into just another multi-billion dallor corperation.
