Default Roller Coasters (Californians)

Okay so far, the only roller coasters I can ride are Jaguar (@ Knott's) and Space Mountain (@ Disneyland) - I've never even bothered to go to Six Flags, lol

I can ride both fine, Jaguar is kind of boring for me, Space Mountain is fun :)

I want to try something a little bit scarier/funner than Space Mountain, when I was at DCA, I was GOING to ride California Screamin' but that seemed WAAAY too scary

So which rides are just a little bit scarier/funner than Space Mountain?

PS, I'm really bad with drops, REALLY bad, lol

Have you tried Thunder Mountain, Mulholland Madness, or Matterhorn?

Go to six flags and go on: Gold Rusher(i was SCARED of rollercoasters when i was little...but i absolutely loved this one.. there's no upside downs and it's very tame but it's a classic in my mind).

then try going on Ninja. and then Revolution(it has a loop... first coaster with a loop. it's got some oldschool drops, a little bigger but sort of like you're used to from big thunder. it's nothing insane with loops like they make nowadays). and then spend the rest of your day on the non coasters if you can't get yourself on anything else. like jetstream, log jammer, blablabla

You should really try California Screamin', it looks way scarier then it actually is. It was actually my very first major coaster!!

Go On X At Six Flags: Magic Mountain. If you can go on that, you can go on anything.

^not really the worst ride i went on was Xcelerator at kontts the was extreamly fun but very scary .like u stated if u don't like drops or height then a 208 foot 90 degree angle is not for u. that was the coaster that I lost my fear of them.

Yes, I agree, just ride X and you'll break yourself in for every other coaster in the U.S. of A. Like taking off a Bandaid, get on the biggest, freakiest coaster and get it over with. Don't work up to it, just do it, no matter what, and afterwards, you'll actually want to do it again, and every other coaster in the park.

Tried Splash Mountain yet? I know it's not a roller coaster, but it has a huge 5-story drop, but nothing else other then that.

well, have you gone on indy? pretty bumpy but amazing ride. no drops.

i would say go on tower of terror. seems terrifying at first, but when i went on it, i had the best time ever. its my favorite ride. even though its just dropping, ur mostly in the dark, so you cant see how fast or how far youre dropping.

Aww, drops are the best part for me! I think they're thrilling.

Six Flags MM has that Batman ride which might be tame enough for you but still scary enough to enjoy. There's always those "classic" wooden coasters and Goliath.

California Screamin' is loads of fun! You definitely need to try it.

I love any coaster. I havent been to SF:MM but I think I would go on any ride. when I first went on Xcelerator a couple years ago, I was pretty scared, but once I went on it I wanted to ride it again right away. drops and speed dont bother me, but spinning will make me sick, thats the only thing I won't do. my advice to you is go to Knotts, and work your way up from there. they have more thrilling rides than DL, but not as much as SF(so ive heard). Id say knotts is in the middle for roller coasters. once you go on it, you will love it.

I remember going on the Xcelerator. Such a fun ride. Standing there in the queue though with the cars rattling overhead almost made me lose my courage to go. But it was a very fun ride, and if you get the chance to look there are some great views that can be seen from it.

I love roller coasters. My first major coaster was Viper. It was really fun. I went on X a few months ago. That was the craziest ride I ever been.
