Default pooh and monsters...

i dont get this...
when the pooh ride opened in critter country it had a fastpass for a little bit cuz it was a new ride.
but when monsters inc. opened at DCA,it didnt have a fastpass, and the line is always an hour long.!?

also...
do u think the new POTC will have a fastpass?

Looks like when Pooh first opened, wait times were over an hour on busy days, then all of the sudden after the summer season, the wait times dramatically dropped off to almost no waiting and consistently stayed that way on most days. So they replaced the Fastpass area as a Fastpass Distribution for Splash Mountain instead, since it was meaningless to continue to have it for a 5-min wait for Pooh.

Maybe they expect the same pattern for Monsters Inc over time, where the wait times will drop significantly. When Monsters Inc first opened in January, the wait times were usually 15 min or less. These long lines suddenly happened and have been like that since the start of the Easter/Spring break (late March) from what i've seen

The only reason i go on the pooh ride is for photos and to see the "left-overs" from CBJ.

I usually drag whomever I'm with onto the pooh ride =D I wish they woulda just cloned WDW's ='( Well, not really, but I'd prefer it to the one we got. They coulda made it so much better. I still can't believe that their #1 character franchise was going to get a ride and they gave it that crummy thing.

As far as fastpass though, I'm surprised Monsters Inc. doesn't have one. Perhaps they learned from Pooh and didn't want it to have a fastpass machine only to fade quickly into obscurity... unlike Pooh however, the line's stayed long, at least for now...they never were good at guessing crowds lately But if the line actually holds up for a good long time, they might put FP in *shrug*. I hope the line doesn't hold up, because that'd mean they actually added other stuff to DCA =D

I dont think the new Pirates will have a fasspass. Because the que is so short anyway. Maybe at WDW. But not here because they would have to do alot more building and there really isnt room for one.

Yep, just like the "leftovers" from Mr. Toad's Wild Ride at WDW.
